A Comfy County Hotel

County Hotel Carlisle was a spur of the moment decision for my wife and I with our adult daughter - we were extremely surprised when we arrived as it was a magnificent old building. Our room slept 3 with large king and a single bed - very spacious and comfortable room - bathroom also very spacious and good shower pressure and hot water. TV available and despite being very old and recently painted the room was very clean and fresh As it on the Main Street and we were on the first floor it was a bit noisy but believe it or not - they even provided earplugs for your use !!! Our hearty English breakfast was included all for the price of around $190 AUD !!! Good hotel for a short stay Highly recommend it for comfort and great value for money 💰 Greg

Dated. But a bed if you're on a night out.

Delapidated. First family room on the top floor had no flooring down. And the liner was cracked/holed and lifting. Asked to change room. New room had a bathroom floor but shower screen was broke, had to line the floor outside with towels. The rooms at the front are above a kereoke bar which on a Sat stops at 11 but music till 12am. No air con but i had borrowed a fan from the first room. It was a heat wave at the time. We didnt sleep much.

Great staff. Hallway smelled like cat pee. Rooms were comfortable and relatively clean but in disrepair. Parking is great. Neighborhood is a bit seedy party town. Lots of excellent food options and pubs steps away from hotel.

Lovely hotel

3rd time of staying at the county hotel. It is very clean although a bit tired & rooms could do with an uplift. Breakfast was excellent, staff friendly, very central. Will be booking again.

Absolutely loved the County Hotel! Everything I needed and staff went out of their way to help. Beautiful room. Lift was really great because im disabled and find stairs difficult.
