The room was clean and suitable. We had a meal in the orangery which was very good, the food was nice and it was made better by the 50% off food deal. Drinks are expensive in the bar. We took our dog as the hotel was advertised as being dog friendly, unfortunately this was not the case. We were charged an additional £50 that was not advertised and the only area we could take her was the entrance lobby. I wouldn't take her again.

Nice hotel with good facilities. Very friendly staff. A few minor problems with things in the room when we arrived but very quickly resolved. On the minus side, such a shame that there is a £10 charge to use the gym! Also no breakfast available on our second morning due to low hotel occupancy (but we did receive a £10 each refund)!

I love staying at Wildes Chesterfield, the staff are fantastic and can’t do enough to make sure my stay is wonderful. I admire Liam, one of the managers, he works hard to ensure that everything is just as it should be and he remembers people and their needs. My room was very clean, the pillows and bed were so comfy, it was lovely and warm in my room. The breakfast is fantastic. When I stay at Wildes I get a chance to rest and relax in a beautiful room and I love it. Thank you to Liam and his well lead team of kind, friendly and helpful staff.
