The room was very hot and I couldn’t find any temperature control in the room. Apart from this everything was excellent.

Thank you for reviewing the hotel. I was sorry to read that you found the bedroom too hot. We do have thermostat controls on the radiators in our rooms but I am sorry if these were not visible in your room.

Nice hotel in center of Chippenham

Pros: convenience to town
Apart from some mis-information from the Satnav this hotel was nicely situated and very close to the centre of town. Our room was clean and convenient and the service in the hotel was very good from couteoous staff. only one minor complaint - beds although comfortable were a bit too soft and springy for our liking. Stayed here when our daughter who lived in the town was unable to put us up. Would defintely come again in similar circumtances

Family visit

We wanted a hotel in the centre of Chippenham and this hotel is perfectly positioned. Breakfast had a good selection of food available. Also ccess to the hotel car park was excellent. We would be happy to stay in the hotel again.

Well located

Hotel is well located, right in the centre on town. The market and usual high street shops are just seconds away. Plenty of cheap places to eat for breafast or dinner. Building is full of character. Room was adequate in size with freeview TV, iron, kettle with tea and coffee supplies. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom just slightly dated but very clean. It did not have a fridge. Indoor swimming pool was small but a great way to relax. A reasonably fitted gym also useful.

Great base for family weekend

Great service from the welcome onwards, check in was friendly and efficient, the room was very spacious and comfortable, with desk, TV on separate unit, and lots of power points, allowing everyone to use/ charge their gadgets without moving furniture.... Also easy to connect Wifi. Breakfast was excellent with very prompt, attentive service. We will definitely stay again.
