Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. My room was clean, comfortable, and the hotel is conveniently located next to a garage for quick purchases. The staff are amazing and helpful. Breakfast was lovely. Thank you for great service!

Perhaps stick with four star in future?

Booked for visit to family locally. Didn't need excellent facilities but was a bit disappointed by the three star quality. Some corridor carpets worn and dirty. Net curtains in room grubby and torn, bedside lampshade cracked and damaged, glass shelves in shower not level so bottle slid off. Room card didn't work on second night so had to be re programmed. Lots of moths in room. Explanation was 'we're in the countryside with a farm next door. When fields are ploughed, the insects come in' but this wasn't very convincing. Eating area is at the end of the reception area, not separate. Food choices not great. Gluten free choices not great - no muesli. Parking £8 per night extra but ask at reception and charge waived. I would look for an alternative on next visit to area.

Room and reception staff excellent. Breakfast was a bit of a bun fight. Some of the food was fine but they had run out of some basics and cooked food was very mediocre

Where do I start? The rooms were stinky, the bedsheets and pillows were smelly and specially the Galleries were not clean at all. The reception was unattended for long periods, the wifi didn't work and the breakfast was all super cheap packed stuff reheated... not happy at all overall...

Good hot cooked breakfast. Comfy beds & clean room

Speedy check-in. Check in first before you pay to park & as long as they take your email it is free. Comfy beds, clean room, decent toilet rolls, dove body wash & a great cooked breakfast. WiFi a bit sketchy & carpet in corridors has seen better days. That said didn’t put us of at all, would recommend & would definitely stay again.

Good over night stay

Fantastic staff we had a little problem with our room which couldn’t get fixed right away so got a room change/upgrade. Dinner and breakfast onsite was very nice
