The Staff were very accommodating, friendly, offering great service. Room and bath were very clean, but our bed was only a queen size, not a king size as what I booked. Hotel is convenient to the Airport, just a short Taxi ride away. The breakfast was very good as well.

The room was tired burn marks in carpet. Hole in the bath where the grab handle had be broken off and not replaced or fixed. The handle for the bath was broken off and lying in the bath. A poor hotel trying to make itself look expensive with fancy lobby

We stayed as travelling early from gatwick the following morning. Hotel is really nicely presented, clean and comfortable. Nice bar and resto, lovely warm pool and steam room. Would recommend

Clean, safe, friendly hotel

Nice hotel, pleasant clean room with a great view, friendly, helpful staff, and good buffet breakfast. It's not the closest hotel to Gatwick, but is only about a 10-minute taxi ride away, so it's definitely manageable. I would stay there again.

Room superb, Bar/ Restaurant let the side down!

Room was super, excellent space for catching up on work, very comfortable and excellent air system which is rare in UK, solid water pressure in shower (again rare in UK hotels) only let down for room was settee had hairs/ crumbs on the cushions which is a bit minging but certainly didn’t spoil stay! Bar/ restaurant area wasn’t great, way too cold (and I’m a Northerner!), menu pretty sparse (though steak sandwich was cooked well), beer was flat and the place felt a bit tired…lamps without shades, wireless chargers broken, wooden surfaces water damaged and bubbling/ peeling. Didn’t really want to spend any longer than necessary in main hotel area, couldn’t wait to get back to room which is a shame as usually I’d relax with a few beers in the bar when away on business.

I would stay again.

We enjoyed this hotel for the friendliness of the staff and a welcoming lobby and restaurant. We paid for the restaurant breakfast and found it delicious as well... basic hotel buffet food, but we liked everything but the orange juice. Family of four, with two teens. The room was comfortable and we enjoyed the tv stations. Pool a bit too cold for us... probably about 78 degrees F. My main complaint is that the wallpaper was roughed up a bit in places and the furniture is a bit dated, but all in all, it was a great stay!

Tired old hotel with thin veneer of refurbishment

Don't expect too much. It's a thin veneer of renovation of an old building, in the middle of nowhere. First indication - front auto doors don't work and ordinary doors difficult and narrow. First floor room, run hot water taps for 20 minutes to get warmish water. Black mould around windows. Food very average. Breakfast expensive, dry, heat lamp food. Some may be ok with this, not me. About 16 pounds. Staff excellent. No daytime food, not even a vending machine. "Free" coffee machine, but cups cost a pound. Walk to Tesco is only 5 minutes. Excellent and clean pool. Lockers broken or locked even when pool is empty. Not value for money. Better hotels nearby. Sorry, I live 5 days a week in hotels and this is simply not good enough in my opinion.
