Check in was a nightmare - we arrived a bit early and was told the room was nearly ready but we would have to wait which we did. When we went to the desk at 3pm the room still wasn’t ready. We were again told to wait - the queue got longer and longer we didn’t get into our room till 3.50. We were attending the gala NYE night - the food was great and the staff very attentive but the DJ was terrible - felt like I was at a bad wedding - music was sooooo old

Lovely location with sea view. On the beach. Short drives to nearby destinations. Room was immaculate. Bathroom was modern. Room was modern. Breakfast was good. It would be even better if they had halal or vegetarian options too. Otherwise, it had a good variety. The hot tub, sauna, steam room & changing rooms were all decent sizes and clean. It is mixed and can get a little over crowded. Overall, great experience. Would definitely come back again. Thank you Marina hotel.

Hotel is old but, for some of us, that is part of the charm. Floor of my room was very creaky. Since I was alone it wasn’t an issue for me but don’t know how it would be for someone in the room below mine. I had a sea front room with a balcony. Patio windows are original, single pane glass but windows have heavy drapes that serve to block out cold winds. I would very likely stay here again.
