Nice staff, proper amenities. Laundry was convienent and on the royal mile which was nice. Very close to the train. The bed was not comfortable as it was a murphy bed and shower pressure was terrible.

Staff were very welcoming and checked us in early so we could drop our bags and explore the city. Apartment was clean with comfy beds and within easy walking distance of everything. Highly recommend.

Best Front Desk Staff Ever!

In a one month tour of several major cities in Scotland, we stayed at many hotels. The Adagio Edinburgh by far had the best customer service of anywhere we stayed. All the staff were friendly, well trained, good at communication, and authentically interested in our welfare. Bravo to the front desk staff at the Adagio.

I stayed a week and I would recommend this hotel to anyone. The room was a good size, clean and the kitchen was very handy to have and saved me from having to eat out every meal. The staff was helpful as well

We stayed for one week and the service was great. The room was spacious but not very clean. We had to wear shoes in the room, otherwise our socks turned black. The trash was not cleaned out when we first went into the room. The shower was clogged and almost flooded the bathroom. The bathroom had a mildew smell. The front desk employees were very responsive and helpful. They had maintenance fix the shower drain and housekeeping clean out the trash. Although there were deficiencies, the service was WONDERFUL. We never had breakfast but it smelled amazing each morning! The hotel is in a fantastic spot for walking! It is a short walk to Holyrood and in the opposite direction about a 15 minute walk to Edinburgh Castle. There is a Hop On/Hop Off Bus stop about 5 minutes from the hotel for convenience. There is no parking on premises but they offer a discount at a car park only 5 minute walk from the hotel. Overall the hotel was well worth the price paid with excellent service and the location cannot be beat.

A GREAT option for staying in the Old Town. Super clean hotel and rooms along with a very friendly and helpful staff. Great location and walkable to all Old Town has to offer - tours, bars, restaurants. City bus and sightseeing bus stop is a block away.

Everything was wonderful from the minute i walked in til i left i didn't do the breakfast bit, but it smells delicious and looked plentiful. Quiet end of the royal mile but close enough
