Check in was exceptional - we didn’t take the breakfast option as we had an early flight to catch so opted to skip it. The room was lovely clean & spacious / we were celebrating our anniversary and had the surprise of a lovely Xmas duck to keep. It really was a lovely stay / we enjoyed the spa facility after a busy day exploring the Xmas markets and surrounding areas. I shall be returning in the new year - everyone was truly welcoming & helpful - top marks all round - thank you

The room was clean, the staff were lovely and willing to go above and beyond. The hotel is located in the centre of the city meaning we walked everywhere as it was within reach. The only thing is the pool was quite cold for this time of year and we could hear others in the room next to us when they got a bit too loud. Overall it has been a wonderful stay and would come back again.

Breakfast was not free, but quite good! Staff was exceptional, Anastasia at the front desk was amazingly helpful and willing to help us with activities. Staff were fantastic and very friendly, especially the waiter in the bar. Hotel is lovely and a nice touch having mulled wine and mince pies out for guests. Room was big and clean. Bed was very comfortable as were pillows and duvets. Nice touch having the leisure facilities although pool could have been slightly hotter. Perfect location for princes street, Christmas markets, George street and st James quarter. Fantastic stay and can’t wait to return.

A very pleasant three night stay. Room was very comfortable and the Australian barman is a great asset to your staff. Only complaint would be that our room wasn’t refreshed until 4:15 in the afternoon by which time we were back getting ready for an evening out.

The hotel is in a fantastic location, close to everything we wanted to visit during our stay. We were in a city room and it was huge, more than enough space for two adults for three nights. The only issue was there were some steps directly outside our room (838) which were very creaky every time someone stepped on them which would wake us up, luckily most people seemed to be back in their rooms quite early. It would also be useful if the lockers in the spa could be operated with the room key, we didn’t have any pound coins on us so couldn’t use the lockers. The staff were very friendly and attentive and our room was spotless. I was also very happy to see the NZ made toiletries in the bathroom - we recently came back from a trip there and remembered using the same ones, a lovely unexpected nostalgic touch!
