The staff deserves 5 stars. The lady at the reception helped me move my luggage in the elevator as I only take the stairs. I didn’t like the room I got as it was very hidden, had a view of the garbage cans, and lacked plenty of amentities like shower cap and others. Also I had to ask for a box of tissues as there none left - housekeeping Missed checking this.

The location was so central and it was only 4 mins walk from Edinburgh Waverley train station. The room was so clean and tidy and the service was top notch. You have free access to steam room and sauna with your stay and also a fully working spa. The staff were very kind and very helpful.

The breakfast was wonderful. It is an awesome location within walking distance of Royal mile and right next to the large shopping center. There is also a little convenience store right there. We had two rooms right next to one another and it was just great!

My wife and I had an exceptional experience at the Apex Waterloo. Besides a room with a great view of the city, the staff went out of their way to accommodate us at every turn. Having a drink at the bar located in the hotel was just the perfect finishing touch to a day in the city. Certainly a 5 star hotel at a reason price.
