Centrally Located Home Away from Home

We had a 2 bedroom apartment in the building across the courtyard from reception. Everything about our stay was excellent! The rooms were a little small, but having the living room made all the difference. The bathrooms were perfect. I never heard any noise from neighbors. The washer/dryer was a surprise; we could have packed less! We had a great view. We ate out one morning and at the hotel restaurant another. Price was about the same, so unless you want the adventure, there's no need to go out. Location on the Royal Mile is optimal. We would absolutely stay here again.

This hotel/apartment was in the heart of everything. There were multiple coffee shops, restaurants, and pubs all a short walk away. When I come back to Edinburgh I would stay here again.

I couldn’t have asked for a better location from which to explore Edinburgh. The property is conveniently situated in the Old Town on the Royal Mile and within easy walking distance to many unique attractions. Even better was the hotel staff, who were all extremely professional, pleasant and accommodating. I ate one breakfast and several dinners at Luckenbooths, which is a nice restaurant located within the hotel — it was lovely to have that option at the end (or beginning) of a long day. I would not hesitate to recommend this property.

Fantastic Stay at Cheval Old Town Chambers Cheval Old Town Chambers exceeded all expectations! The apartment was spacious, beautifully designed, and impeccably clean. Overall a wonderful stay! Helpful staff and great food. The only downside was the rattling from the air con vent in room 501. Even with the air con off the vent rattled constantly right outside the snug bedroom. It made getting to sleep tricky.
