This is the second time we have used this hotel for a trip to Edinburgh. It is excellent in every way. From location to quality of the breakfast. The staff are first rate and very helpful. The rooms are spacious and perfectly maintained. I can honestly highly recommend this hotel if you’re planning a trip here.

Great location, beautiful bright decor, and great

Pros: Everything but especially the location
Cons: Nothing
Location: It was close to the Royal Mile for shopping
The Staff were very kind and helpful, the breakfast was plentiful and hot, and the hotel was very comfortable.

Good location close to the Royal Mile

The hotel was a short walk from the Royal Mile, castle, Grassmarket and Waverley train Station. We were staying on the ground floor so we could hear people walking past and general city life during the night. The lighting in the room wasn't the best and there were no drawers to put things in, just a few open shelves and hangers. There was an iron and ironing board, decent hair dryer and shower gel already in the room; which was good. Lovely choice of breakfast and friendly, helpful staff. All in all a pleasant stay.

Great quiet hotel close to the Royal Mile

Excellent hotel - comfortable, quiet, a 2 minute walk from the Royal Mile. And great value with super breakfast. Fabulous overall.

Hotel is in a convenient location for Royal Mile and Waverley Station. Room was clean with a decent buffet breakfast.
