Hotel easy to get to, good access to town

The food over christmas very good indeed, and the staff did realy well.

Highly Recommended

Although due to a very sad circumstance I didn't get to stay here, this hotel came highly recommended by family and friends. I will definetly use this hotel when I need to next year.

walking distance to beach & town - clean but dated

Pros: Location (stayed here several times before)
Cons: decoration updated and windows available to open, or air conditioning
Location: Walking distance to beach and town. Fabulous pub by the beach called The Alex Bar & Brasserie, which does live Jazz on Sunday nights visited everyday
Our room was a ground disabled room with all room windows nailed down, with no air conditioning. This was a warm weekend. Bedding was clean but mattresses were not comfortable. A good three-quarters of an inch completely around the door which meant the light shone in all night. Good selection of tea/coffee, biscuits and clean towels daily. Best deals are always on-line.

Well situated

Pros: Bed comfortable ,well situated ,price.
Cons: Needs updating and improving the standards of fittings
Location: Felixstowe is a small seaside town. We found lots to do in our 2 day visit but would be repetitive for a longer period. South of the town is a fort .
Large room. Comfy bed. Bathroom had dripping tap in sink and shower head fell from wall. I think this hotel needs a little T.L.C. Many Europeans work here which I have generally no problem with. They work hard and are pleasant. 1 male (nice lad) in the restaurant we were unable to understand his English , which I find awkward . Food average, we had a roast at Sunday lunch before travelling home, I wouldn't recommend this meal to anyone.

Friendly n helpful. Room a little old fashioned but clean. Lighting very confusing, all or nothing. Good position for sea.
