I want to thank especially Arianna and Amanda... the two front desk professionals that assisted me with my overnight stay. I am temporarily on crutches with a broken foot bone. they helped me with my luggage and a couple of things I could not navigate on my own. HOW WONDERFUL when people in the hospitality industry actually become THAT word!

The staff was great, unfortunately the pool was under renovation, the bar and the bartenders were absolutely amazing and very accommodating. I will say they should put a microwave on every floor as they do already have ice machines on every floor.

Critique

The room was pretty clean, but the mattresses were way too soft. The chair for the desk was very heavy to move comfortably. In the bathroom, there should be another grab bar, horizontally on the long wall. This is Florida and there are a lot of older people like me who would feel more secure with the additional bar. Also in the bathroom, there should be a small table to place some small items of clothing or a book or newspaper.

The property doesn’t seem to be like other Marriott’s I’ve been to. My room was nice but the balcony wasn’t really a balcony, just a brick wall with a view. The A.C. temperature was wacky, making our room humid. There were no real amenities. I can’t believe it’s a 4 star hotel. The staff were really nice though.
