The room was not great no access to the outside could not open the window. Extra charge for cleaning the room. $25 a day to park was expensive.

We loved the beach views and easy access to see the ocean from the lobby. The hotel has pretty decoration all around, with light colors and chick vibes. Parking is not the easiest, it is valet, so plan for additional cost. We decided to go to dinner before we got into our room because we didn’t want to wait for the car to be pulled from valet, which was fine, just a bit of planning on our part. Beds were low, but worked perfectly for us because we had a wheelchair user. There’s no ramp to the beach for a wheelchair, but that’s very hard to find anywhere we go anyways. We didn’t try the food from the restaurant, hopefully next time! Staff was very nice and helpful.

I stayed at this property for spring break. It is very convenient if you have a car. I loved that its only a 30 minute drive from Fort Lauderdale for the night life, and loved that during the day we could enjoy the peaceful private beach and pool away from the chaos of Fort Lauderdale.

Common areas not clean, chair cushions stained, tables dirty, floors dirty. Requested a king room with balcony. Was given handicap room with a handicap bathroom, all one big area shower, toilet,sink combined. Initial check in room was not ready, check in was 4:00 arrived 4:45. returned for a second check in two days later, asked to check in a few minutes early and they were going to charge for early check in. Not very accommodating at the front desk. We stayed here two years ago and it was much nicer. Property has deteriorated. We have friends that live close by so we chose this place so we could walk back & forth. May consider staying somewhere else next time.

Interesting Concept. Great Spot on the beach just hundreds of yards from mega million dollar Hillsboro Mansions. Beach was beautiful. Rooms are tiny. Very little service. Good for college kids and location. Far from Luxe.

We just got back from Hillsboro by Sonder and writing this review was one of the first things I am doing. We enjoyed our stay immensely. We were booked for three nights, and were supposed to move on to another part of Florida for another three nights. Unfortunately, my husband did not feel well and was not up for the trip. Michelle, at the front desk was so amazing, and although the hotel was pretty much booked, she figured out a way that we could stay. She found one room where we could stay one night and another room where we could stay the remaining two nights. Hillsboro by Sonder is located just about two miles down the road from the busy part of Deerfield Beach. It is on the beach, but much more peaceful than the center of town where all the bars and restaurants are. There is a very nice pool with enough lounge chairs to accomodate their guests. You can also rent lounge chairs and umbrellas on the beach. They have a small indoor/outdoor restaurant which is very nice for breakfast and light bites. They have valet parking and you can text them when you are ready to leave the premises so that your car is ready to waiting and ready to go. We had the opportunity to stay in three rooms. The first was actually a little apartment without a kitchen, but with a balcony and panoramic views. The second was also beautiful with a nice balcony and partial oceanview. The third was kind of small with no view or balcony. The first two were very clean. All were modern and nice.
