Hotel is old with dirty carpets, floors and curtains. I was checked into a room that an entire HVAC panel off. As I was walking around the room, the maintenance guy uses a key and walks in. He stated the room should have been out of the system to rent. I went back to the front desk and they moved me to another room. For the remainder of my stay, I never received face towels. Upon my return each night, I had to go the front desk to request some. My final night included enduring an hour of some guest on my floor (8th) arguing. I called the front desk and security walked up, but the arguing continued for another 30 minutes.

This hotel was great. The hotel staff was very friendly even down to house keeping. When i initially checked in i was greeted with champagne. Everything went smoothly. The room was clean along with a nice view of the front of hotel facing the parking lot.the sheets on the bed could have been upgraded seeing that it was a little old and tattered. Other than that hotel was in a great location. It wasn't to far from anything and a 35 min ride to Miami.

Room had a foul smell to it. The toilet was flushing slow. The shower head would leak water continuously, and the tv would not play because it would not connect to the internet. I asked Jerrika who was the lady at the front desk checking me out for the MOD and she said she busy. Wow. I felt that was just unprofessional. No attempt to check or anything. Regardless if the MOD is busy, they are never to busy to listen to customers concerns about their stay. I worked as a MOD at a resort years ago and I always took time to listen to my guests concerns. Every time I come to Ft Lauderdale this is my hotel choice and the last two times I had come, the room has had issues. The a/c doesn’t work, and other issues. Westin hotels are supposed to be clean and up to par but this one is falling short. I have learned my lesson and now I will look for other hotels in the area that are clean and comfortable. I’m in the city every two to three weeks and I look for clean and comfort.

It was the worst experience I have ever had!!! The beds were horrible - sheets were dirty and the mattress springs were completely broken that the mattress completely sunk in. There was no way anyone could sleep on them. After not getting any sleep the first night they switched our room and it wasn’t much better. Issue with getting in and out of the room (broken door lock), toilet was broken and leaking and the tub was leaking and had to listen to the dripping water throughout the night. On top of it all the staff was not considerate or helpful. THE WORST HOTEL!!
