Upon our arrival, we encountered some challenges with parking, likely due to a Halloween event which seemed to be taking place. Upon entering the lobby, there was an unusual odor that I attempted to overlook, but that contributed to my overall impression.
The check-in process was efficient, and we appreciated the prompt service. However, once we entered our room, I noticed some cleanliness issues that were concerning. There was black residue on the toilet seat, and upon further inspection, I discovered what appeared to be urine beneath the seat. I decided to clean that myself. The bedding seemed like it may not have been changed from the previous guest. We decided to sleep on the towels. To compound our discomfort, the air conditioning did not appear to be functioning properly. Thank God it was only for one night. I wrote to the property regarding my concerns.
I have always held the Westin brand in high regard, which is why this experience was particularly disappointing. Regrettably, based on this stay, we have decided not to return to this location in the future. I believe that maintaining high standards of cleanliness is essential, especially in hospitality, and I hope this feedback can assist in enhancing the experience for future guests.
