We felt the room was a bit tired looking although we did notice decorating was in progress at the hotel. I was a bit disappointed with the breakfast. For such a high class hotel, tin tomatoes were not acceptable & eggs cooked by a member of staff while you wait should have been offered, not a tray full already cooked & left to go hard. The following day we stayed at a hotel at Cape Town airport where we had a fantastic breakfast with all fresh produce cooked to order included in the price of the room which was a lot cheaper than the Hilton at Gatwick.

Brilliant location

Brilliant location for late night arrivals and early morning flights. Right on the doorstep of Gatwick South terminal. Bed was extremely comfortable, very large tv, room had a fridge and safe too. Bathroom was a decent size with nice shower. Could hardly hear the planes taking off, nice and peaceful

This is where I always stay at Gatwick airport. You cannot be at the convenience and the comfort. The breakfast is fantastic. See you next time.

Great night’s sleep

Booked for 1 night as we had an early flight from Gatwick South Terminal next morning. Never stayed overnight before. Swift and pleasant check in. Room was lovely - Exec King. Used the Exec lounge which was very pleasant. Great night’s sleep and room located in a quiet area. Would definitely stay here again.
