Lovely rural place to stay

Enjoyed an overnight stay here in October, arriving late afternoon. Had booked a double en-suite for sole occupancy and the room was very characterful with beams, wooden floorboards and low level sash window. Let's face it, this is a very old inn so don't expect the clean lines and clinical effect of the modern hotels! It suited me, though. Evening meal was excellent, as was the full English breakfast. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
