Very enjoyable stay. Lovely breakfast. The age of the building come's with quirky slopes and creeks in the bedrooms but it's all part of the experience of staying in such a historic building
Set right in the centre of the City, a great place to stay. The floors are wonky, but then after 500 years that's to be expected and it has great character. Second time I've stayed there. It's so convenient and full of history. Love it.
Enjoyed my stay, I think I should have gone for a bigger room, my single room was devoid of character , no plug in the sink, shower control was not in good condition.
The hotel itself is lovely, friendly staff and delicious meals, would definitely stay there again.
Excellent stay…. Great location, great for access to all city sites and quick access to Kingsholm Stadium.
Really good price for nice large, very clean room….
Breakfast was awesome, as were staff!
Will defo stay here next time I’m down for the rugby A+

TV didn't have signal and room could do with an update. Couldn't find anyone for breakfast but none of that mattered. We had a clean comfy bed in an amazing piece of history. Its great value for a room smack bang in the centre. This was my 3rd time and im still amazed that this hotel has retained so much of its architectural history particularly in the courtyard and Tudor landings.
I had to move through in the middle of the night because there was noise next door from an extractor fan in another guest room. The Knight water was very helpful and found me another room.

Lovely room, gorgeous old building, staff very friendly and helpful. We loved the historical documents framed around the rooms and building!
The outside stairs were a little treacherous as it was raining but there were handrails.
Very steep stairs to climb the room was very stale had to open all the windows and let all the flys in the bathroom door kept sticking so it was best to leve it open the breakfast l can't moment on as I wated for 15 minutes for someone to take my order I got board I went somewhere else and had my breakfast when I got back anhour and a quarter later after having breakfast and a walk around the town the three people that sat down after me were still in there having their breakfast l was so disappointed it's gone so down hill since I last stayed there
Quaint coaching inn in the centre of Gloucester. Clean and comfortable, great staff, friendly and helpful. Good value food and drink, with good discount offers for residents
Beautiful property! It’s authentic and charming and such a delightful escape from your standard hotel room.
