We booked the Orsett Hall as was travelling from Norfolk to visit family over the Xmas period. Very disappointed to find out that we was staying in an Annexe around the back of the hotel and not in the main building and in an Attic. Booked this hotel being a stately hotel and very disappointed to say the least.

Our stay was wonderful. The restaurant staff were amazing and the meal was fabulous. All staff were really welcoming. I do not think paying guests should pay to use the spa facilities however.

Wonderful hotel and friendly staff. Really enjoyed my stay at this Hotel. The breakfast was delicious and it wasn’t the usual buffett, they seat you down and there is breakfast menu, place the order and they make it fresh which was a wonderful experience. Neither my television or my room phone were working. They were sorted out for me then, on my third night I was informed that neither of the restaurants were open at all!!! I had been with relative’s until then, luckily….i should have been told in booking, I was informed that if I’d come the weekend after they would have been open. Not much help when I live well over 200 miles away! I won’t be going back.

Lovely Hotel

Wonderful staff, very accommodating and nice restaurants. Location was great for access. Gym is on the small side, but adequate facilities. In room AC didn't go below 19 degrees, so room was a warm. However still a great place to stay.
