Staff are pleasant. A local racist drunk appear to frequent the hotel and cause harassment. Staff ill-equipped to address drunken behaviour. Limited breakfast options especially for alternative milk and vegetarian/vegans. Local infrastructure work does cause noise but with appropriate times. A fair distance from the station.

Asked for a twin bed which we got. TV we were unable to get any reception. The phone didn’t work so had to go to reception I was given the excuse it was the weather!! No solution sorted until I asked if there was another room available. There was a double bed and sofa bed. The worst nights sleep in a hotel. The sofa bed was the worst.

Staff were polite and very welcoming. I stayed on a Sunday and arrived after 18.30. I parked in the Water Gardens which is less then a 5 minute walk and paid 50 pence for overnight parking.
