So, when i did arived at the open hour, there was nobody from the stuff, i wait for them, they give me wrong key, even arguing about it, in the whole my stay i didn't have a key for the room, it stays unlocked, asked for a remote control for the tv, again arguing about it that is in the room, never bring me such, the bed is absolute awful, to have hot water you should wait some time... It's far from a hotel, guest house maybe, but more like open hostel, pictures in the advert are not real, atleast in my room.... The heating stops through the day, some loud kids without parenting, screaming and shouting...

I was genuinely surprised to find a hotel this good for the price. The place was very clean, the staff were both professional and friendly, and breakfast was included, I really can't complain. Excellent value for money, and I will definitely be returning.

This is a guest house that is unmanned from 2 to 4 and 9pm to 9am. Room was basic, but clean, with a microwave and fridge. Staff were very friendly. Very good value for money, but this is a budget option.

Small but clean single room.

The single room I had was positioned in the attic. Although being small it had everything I needed. Tea and coffee facilities. Private shower and toilet. Bed was comfortable and seemed a bit bigger than a standard single

Advertised as 'no frills' accommodation maybe so, but what was there was spot on. great staff, nice welcome, friendly on reception and at breakfast time, room was spotless. Very nice breakfast.

Convenient location.

Itโ€™s clean, friendly helpful staff, reasonably priced and breakfast included. Whatโ€™s not to like! Itโ€™s close to Hemel town centre, even if youโ€™re on foot, so a good location.

A small gemstone

A really nice place to stay with a lovely hostess (very helpful!) We got our room just under the roof. A lot of stairs (but everyday exercise is good for you!) Lovely view out over nearby area through roof window. The beds was on each side of the bathroom so not something fir lovers but after nearly 30 years marriage it doesn't matter. Good English breakfast, made while waiting. Could take some time but definitely worth the wait! :) If ever nearby again, we sure will check out Alexandra Guest House again!
