The Hotel was spotlessly clean and the staff were very polite and friendly. Breakfast was enjoyable and plentiful with a wide selection to choose from although somewhat pricey.
Hotel is located right in the centre of Hereford close to all shops, pubs and cathedral.
The room was very nice, clean and spacious - and a great bed. The location is perfect for The Cathedral and the Old Town. I skipped the breakfast because I thought it was too expensive.
Highlights are the centre-of-town location, the restaurant/breakfast room and lovely character of the hotel. Staff were friendly and room was warm and comfortable. Breakfast was good, ours being cooked-to-order but the buffet ‘full-English’ was less appealing (bacon not replenished and fried eggs that looked like they had been standing for some time - the latter should be cooked fresh to order). Decor in places (corridors especially) due for a refresh and the outlook of our first-floor room was into a ‘well’ facing other rooms’ windows. Overall a pleasant one-night stay and walkable to the City hospital.
