Friendly staff

The friendliest staff and very clean and easy accommodation. I've been a couple of times before my early-morning flights. It can be quite noisy and the walls are quite thin - so I do recommend some ear plugs! But overall - cheap and cheerful with great staff. It's also close by to a cute pub through a graveyard.

The property location is good, close to the airport which is convenient. The bedroom walls are very thin it makes it very very noisy to get a good night sleep- I had someone next to me bang his door way into the early hours of the morning. The heating also cannot be adjusted (well in the room I was in anyway) so you are either freezing cold or super warm. While I can see the appeal to stay close to the airport for the price, I'll probably pay for something a bit better next time.

A little star at Gatwick

We had a layover at Gatwick and didn't want to stay at the airport so I booked a day stay at the Corner House. We were picked up and delivered back to the airport by shuttle. Instructions by email were spot on, the room was comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back.

Clean, conformable, perfect for an early flight.

Good stay at this hotel. Just one night pre early flight, everything was as it should be. Very clean, comfortable and quiet. 5 min drive to long stay parking. Would revisit. Parking is an additional £9.

Easy access from Gatwick airport. Reasonable room rates Friendly staff. Older property, so some acoustic issues. (Our room, #2, right above dining room, breakfast sounds start shortly after 6am)

Can strongly recommend The Corner House

A sparkling clean room and bathroom, efficient restaurant, polite reception service, and shuttle took 4 minutes to the airport. All in all, a brilliantly organised operation and very pleased with the efficiency of everything.

Worth it!!

Great Hotel, just one bus stop away from Gatwick South Terminal (Northbound). Room is clean, comfy, and worth every pennies!!! Would be back anytime soon for transit

Was pleasantly surprised. We stayed one night while waiting for a flight home to Aus. Our room was quite new and very comfortable. The staff were fun, cheeky and engaging. The breakfast was also fantastic. Great value for money. Highly recommend.

Not a good choice for light sleepers

First positives, staff was super friendly and helpful and the room was clean. I can’t read it higher because it was so noisy. The hotel is on a busy street, but more than that there was a gap under the door so that all the noise from the hallway came right into the room. This made it difficult to sleep. I did have a room in the building across the street, so perhaps the main building is quieter. There was also some difficulty getting the right water temperature and water pressure in the shower, so I could not wash my hair.

Fantastic stay! The transportation option to/ from Gatwick was handy, and the bar and reataurant onsite are great amenities. Room was clean and the shower was nice. A bit warm at night, but otherwise perfect.
