Being able to hear people in the adjacent room through the interconnecting door was a disturbance. The hotel is well situated for access to the town. Breakfast was excellent.

Family of five go walking

Good value for money, great location, beautiful view over the river, spa pool small and difficult to use when a child was having an external swimming lesson i.e. not a guest at the hotel.

Excellent location within Kendal

Pros: Comfortable rooms and beds ,Soft Towels , leisure facilities. Helpful staff.

Cons: Bar meal experience / service .

Location: Excellent location easy walking distance to town centre. You have the Lake District on your doorstep to explore

I recently visited Lakes for a short stay and found this Hotel to be in an excellent location with free parking on site.The leisure complex was a nice touch after a pleasant but tiring day walking or site seeing within the national park.. The only niggle I had was the intermittent service after ordering food in the Bar area. On the plus side the excellent breakfast more than compensated .I and particularly my teenage daughter liked the comfy beds and soft towels in the room and the fact you could pick one up at reception when you went to the leisure complex I would recommend a stay here before looking at Premior Inn and I will be returning in the not too distant future. A very enjoyable stay .

Central location

Ideal location to explore Kendal and the surrounding areas. Excellent accommodation. The family room was large with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. The view from the window of the river was fantastic. The breakfast was hearty, cooked well and hot with plenty of choice for everyone. Will definitely stay again and will recommend to friends.

Nice hotel but a bit on the expensive side

Pros: Nice river view in our room. Nice breakfast.

Cons: The cost.

Location: Great location.

Stayed for the weekend chess tournament in Kendal.
