The gentleman at the reception was very helpful . I wanted to check in early .He accommodated my request. The only improvement I would say is they need to leave a couple of bottles of water in the room.
Lovely hotel, friendly staff. Very dated and way too warm.
Great selection for breakfast.
Could do with some repairs and good clean of communal carpets

We arrived at the hotel to check in and had paid the full price before arriving. Reception then charged ann extra £108 for parking apparently. We got to the room and the air conditioning was broken. It was so noisy. We were told it wasn’t supposed to be like that and he would try and get us another room. The manager then forgot about us and said we just had to stay in the original room. When I booked the hotel said it had a gym and showed photos of said gym. Upon arrival we were told the gym was removed weeks ago so had to plan to train somewhere else both days while staying in the hotel. The cleanliness wasn’t what we expected. We left the hotel for the full day and when we arrived back nothing had been cleaned. We had no clean mugs for coffee or clean towels. We were over charged and promised a partial refund.
Room fine except totally overheated - could not get the temperature down even with the window open and the thermostat on 16 (lowest setting). No fan despite notice saying there was.
Car parking is tight but the real problem was we had to park under the trees - the bird mess was incredible and not easy to get sorted out away from home. Still scrubbing.....
Staff lovely. Public areas are modern and clean. Corridors (carpet), and rooms, are tired. Cracked plastic round basin spongy, probably rotten underneath. Bath panel MDF affected by the water, walls, chairs, carpet marked. Clean but a bit tatty.
Have used this hotel many times since family moved to Kenilworth. Could do with a bit of a refresh in the rooms and the aircon/heating system is noisy even when switched off. But great staff and convenient for visiting family.
Parking space is limited which is in first come first serve basis. It is better to check in earlier and leave your car there if you stay during peak season or special event.
Really friendly staff, would have been 5 stars but my door card didn’t work when I checked in and I had to go back to reception where a very friendly young man apologised and sorted me out immediately, he was a credit to the hotel.

Location, excellent breakfast , helpful staff they help me with late check out, free coffes/tea station, clean rooms and well located in town
Booked 2 rooms - one wasn't up to our standard and we reported it immediately - a new room was organised within minutes, no fuss.
A few things could be better and are signs of an older/worn hotel - but nothing that detracted from our stay.
We ate in the bar/restaurant - while a little pricy we were very happy with the food and drinks provided.
Breakfast was nice and enough for the family.
Would stay again.
