The hotel is absolutely stunning and the room was excellent—beautiful, comfortable, and spotless. However, during our stay the main elevator was out of service, and the remaining elevator was extremely slow. We ended up using the stairs multiple times, and unfortunately they were not well maintained. It definitely took away from an otherwise great experience. If the elevator and stairway issues get resolved, this would easily be a top-tier stay.

One of the two elevators serving the 4th floor was closed and the other worked so intermittently that other guests I talked with resorted to using the stairs as did I. Recently remodeled but still outdated,bed was comfortable, food was excellent. Distance to parking not so much.

Place is immaculate! Very clean, staff is very friendly and helpful. You feel like royalty staying here! Only downside is everything is very expensive and they add on additional fees for room cleaning, daily parking, and towel/linen service. The meals, drinks, and items from the convenience store are pricey as well.

Beautiful property far enough away from duval to be quiet but close enough to walk and right on its own private beach. You can rent bikes and jet skis and everything on site.

The pool, bar and front counter staff are excellent. The food is good but not a great value. Housekeeping was awful. On a 5 day stay we had to remind/ask them to take care of our room repeatedly. Overall property is well maintained. Maybe it’s just the wing we’re in but the corridors were looking run down and in need of renovations. Rooms were ok, at best.

We stayed for 8 days in mid-August. The property is beautiful and historic. The staff was friendly and welcoming. We had a problem with our shower leaking on the bathroom floor and the solution was to give some extra towels. We were going through multiple towels to clean up the water. They stated it was a known problem. It was a major annoyance. The elevator was out for 2 days and there was a fire alarm in the middle of the night due to construction workers in the building setting it off. I realize these things can happen anywhere, but it was a lot of inconveniences for our short stay and for the price. I am glad we stayed here just to experience the magnificence of it all but we won’t be staying here again.

We had a lovely time in Casa Marina. The staff is very sweet and professional. Dinner food delicious. And general atmosphere was wonderful
