We love so much about Lighthouse Hotel from the staff to the grounds to the location. This was our fourth stay and we’ve never been disappointed! We enjoy the cozy room with our own patio (we were in room 1), the complimentary bfast each morning and the roosters/hens (be nice to them - they are part of the experience), chilling in the pool area and the bar. The grounds are kept PERFECT. Shout out to Lemi. She is a true hospitality expert - goes above and beyond. Love being off of Duval where it’s quiet but easy to walk anywhere. Blue Moon cafe is a must!! Key West is definitely our happy place. We’re so grateful for each and every experience. Thank you, Lighthouse staff. Don’t change a thing about this property!

Staff was very friendly. Room was comfortable and clean. Pool required some unexpected maintenance while we were there so it was closed but they did offer pools at sister hotels which was nice. Breakfast was very nice. We enjoyed our visit.

We had a lovely time at this property. The staff was lovely. The suite size was great but could use a little love. We did not use a car they entire time (except to and from the airport) and were able to walk every place we wanted to go. I would stay here again.

Pros: We loved the location. It's so easy to walk to any downtown place via Duval Street with tons of restaurant options. Since this is a hotel and no AirBnB, you gotta go eat somewhere. You can also rent a golf cart or take an Uber to Fort Zachary Taylor Historic State Park Beach (best beach in Key West, except for overpriced bad food options). A golf cart is the best mode of transportation with 2 kids in tow. Walking 30+min in this humid heat, including beach gear, snacks and etc..., is just no fun. Parking around your hotel may be tricky and make sure you know the rules. We went off-season, so it was easy, but during high season-we have been told-it can be a challenge. If you book a sunset, snorkeling, sandbar or fishing trip on a boat, which I highly recommend, it only takes 20min to walk to the harbor or you simply book a cab/Uber/Lyft. The housekeepers were amazing and always made sure that we had enough clean towels. Beach towels are never in shortage and available to pick up by the pool area 24/7. Cons: The pool is very small, but then we didn't go to Key West to spend time at a pool. We prefer the beach and what nature has to offer. The marine life is just too amazing to dwell in a pool for us.

Hideaway in Key West

The rooms could use a minor touch up with painting but it was a beautiful and comfy hotel nonetheless. Close to the state park beach, about a 15 minute walk and 2/3 blocks from the southern most point, very convenient. Just far enough from all the fun in Duval but close enough to never miss out.

The property is cute with its own unique vibe. Our room did smell a bit musty, but it’s damp south Florida…so I took that with a grain of salt. There was some mold in our bathroom grout also, but I wasn’t in the mood to complain about something so petty. One thing I will rave about was Jefferson, he was working at the pool bar and not only was he a joy to talk to, he made a great drink!

Great place to stay, very good location. We stayed in the Pincushion Room. It was a bit small, but we were out and about all day - so it really didn't matter. The front desk staff is amazing. The breakfast was great!!!

Location is excellent. Very close to Duval st and easy to walk to most locations in the historic district. Plenty of good restaurants nearby. The hotel is typical old Key West style but very comfortable with good AC and spacious rooms. You can hang out by the pool after strolling around the streets and have a drink at the hotel bar. We got a two bedroom unit which was great for a family of four.
