Just OK

Cons: Service in restaurant is very slow and food is basic.

A reasonable hotel and nothing more, just average. Could have been better but let down by the service in the restaurant which is very slow indeed and the food is very basic showing signs of having been cooked and frozen. For a one night stay en route to somewhere better it's ok. But nothing more than that.

great hotel and staff

The hotel was really nice and staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was nicely designed with tea/coffee plus an iron which came in handy. The only thing that let it down was the cleanliness of the room. Maybe a bit more attention to detail would have been good in that area.

Weekend R&R

Booked a weekend break here with my partner in July, and have to say we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Room was a good size, spotless, and very little road noise, even with the window open, from the nearby M6. Town centre a short walk or £3.00 taxi ride away. Plenty of free parking, clean and well presented public areas, friendly and helpful service from the team. Didnt sample the food here so cant comment, the bar was well stocked though, if a little pricey. Would stay again for sure.
