The hotel, setting was lovely. The room was. But for the middle of winter the thin bedding wasn’t enough and my partner was frozen despite a thermostat in the room which was set. It might be an idea too in the form of a notice for those wanting to walk around the area, or coming back off public transport to be given details what gates are still open past a certain time so they don’t have to walk up the main drive which is a very long way, especially in the dark.

Heat death trap with no air con

Lovely hotel but my 2 kids and I were put in a room with no air conditioning and a heat death trap. The staff then pretended they didn't know the air conditioning wasnt working when clearly one could see it hadn't worked in days! We were then handed a portable fan that could barely stand up! Never staying again
