unhelpful staff

i had booked this hotel for the Coldplay concert on the 7th Sept 25 and as concert was rescheduled to the earlier date of the 6th Sept i contacted the hotel to ask could i transfer the booking to another hotel in the city centre as we were not attending the concert but wanted to visit London anyway as previously planned. Staff were most unhelpful and no option was given to my request, I ended up booking another hotel in Leicester square. I did not expect a refund just requested a transfer of booking

Surprisingly quiet given it's position on the A40. Clean, friendly receptionist and comfy night's stay. Could do with improving the selection of the on tap beer in the bar.
