Basic accommodation

Very basic hotel but only used for one night for convenience. Relatively cheap but as the saying goes you usually get what you pay for .Will use again.

In great of need of some TLC...

Pros: The bathroom was bright, clean and modern, but that doesn't help much when only staying for a night.
Cons: The overall quality of the room.
Location: Location is good, only minutes away from the O2 Empire, but is only one of many hotels down the one street. Would try another hotel next time.
For staying at a hotel only for one night I don't think I expect much, just need a comfortable welcoming room, but I don't feel like I got that quality for the amount I paid for. The room was in a great need renovation or just a little more love and attention. The colour and state of the décor made the whole room feel dark, dingy and uncared for, there were stains on the carpet and no effort to clean the spill of drink which was left on the wall and radiator by the people who stayed previously. The mugs left for tea and coffee were also badly stained and a stale smell lingered in the room throughout our stay. Still feeling uncomfortable by the morning we skipped breakfast wanting to checkout as soon as possible. I have spent about the same or less amount of money for a night at a basic hotel like a Travelodge before and have gotten a way better quality of care in a room. Not worth the money even for a one-night-stay.

Good location

Nice hotel is in the process of being renovated we had one of the new rooms very comfy great amenities on the main road but was quiet breakfast was included but we didn't have it and free wifi good location if your going to the Apollo. There are parking zones but we parked in zone b which was by the hotel and free for the weekend

comic con

cheap is the word. single room is ridiculously small but you get what you pay for. Main Road rooms noisy due to constant traffic and thin windows. Mostly emergency services at 3am. Breakfast is adequate for a £55 all in. Coffee, cereal, toast and more coffee, it'll do. More than 1 night would be a struggle but I would use it again if I could get a room off the main road.

Disappointed

Walked into room and greeted with a smell. Worn and patched carpet, towels old and discoloured. Shower door didn't shut property and water went on floor, so had to use hand towel to soak it up. Shower head scaled up so not good flow. Plus side plenty of hot water. When we got to bed found top sheet didn't cover us both and bottom sheet too small to tuck in. But managed to sleep well due to hectic day walking around London.

Hammersmith Apollo concert & overnight accommodation

Hotel 65 is ideally located to the Hammersmith Apollo, which can be reached by bus which pass by every 12-15 minutes, or on foot, which takes about 20 minutes. My room was compact, but clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. I would stay here again if I was going to another show at the Apollo.

Bad turned into good

I arrived at the hotel approximately at 2.00 am. The at the reception gave me a card on which both room no. and building no. were written. Before I made my reservation, I had read from the internet that the rooms facing the main street might be too noisy for guests who are sensitive and who have sleeping problem. For this reason I sent an e-mail to the hotel and requested a quiet room. Before getting the card, I asked the room clerk whether the room was quiet or not. He said "the room was quiet." By walking through the main street I finally reached the room. It was at the last floor of the building. I hardly opened the door. The room was very small. This was not a problem since I already knew that. What bothered me was: The room was used and it was not cleaned. Besides, the room was facing the main street and I could easily hear engine and wheel sounds of the vehicles passing thtough the street. I was so tired that I didn’t go to the reception again. The next day, I got up (in fact I slept only a few hours) and went to reception again. There was a young lady wearing eyeglasses at the reception. I told her everything. She apologised several times and promised to change my room. My room was changed that that, and the new room was really perfect compared to the previous one. It was bigger, clean, quiet and new-decorated room. The next three days, I enjoyed my stay in the hotel. The breakfast was enough, but breakfast time is very early. It ends at 9 am. The location is good. There is a bus stop in front of the hotel and there are three undergrand stations by 5 minutes walk. Considering the room rate, I prefer to stay in this hotel if they give me the same room.

A budget gem that beat Travelodge.

I stayed here as it was close to tube stations for an audition i had in central. The price was very agreeable. The staff i met were friendly and helpful and the place was clean and well run. The hotel is split of a few houses and i was lucky enough to be put in the newest house- the builders were still in one of the rooms but as soon as i arrived they downed tools for the day. The room had just been finished that day. I was in room 1A. A wonderful new bathroom suite, new tv and beds and it was at the back of the property so nice and quiet. Right across the road is a Cafe Rouge and Westfield is about a 7 min walk as is Superdrug and places to eat and drink if you don't want to go into Westfield. The area felt safe and less manic than direct central. I will stay here again. In fact, i want to stay next week but they are full! A little budget friendly gem. Highly rated. (Better than Travelodge for this area without a doubt- and i should know, i usually stay there for business!)
