I arrived at the room late ready for an early flight. Hotel restaurant and room looked nice but TV didn’t not tune properly. I asked reception and they said to turn off and on at the mains which I did but still didn’t rectify the issue.

Staff- The hotel was quite busy when I arrived; having a check-in kiosk would make the process much smoother for guests. Amenities - Overall a nice stay, but I wish the rooms had a microwave and mini fridge. The hotel’s distance from town makes it difficult to reheat or store food, which was inconvenient for my family. I enjoyed my stay, but I was surprised that the hotel didn’t provide washcloths or face towels. The hand towels were too large to use for bathing, so I had to purchase my own.

Disappointing stay. I’ve been a loyal Expedia customer for nearly two decades. I am a current Platinum OneKey member and choose VIP Access hotels for the additional perks as advertised on the Expedia site. I booked a standard King room at the Leonardo Hotel based on a previous positive experience in April 2025, when I received a complimentary upgrade and free access to the minibar. This time, however, I was given an accessible room upon check-in without notice, even though other rooms were available. I was eventually reassigned to a regular room upon request. Neither the hotel nor Expedia customer service honored the advertised Platinum perks, which were supposed to include benefits such as free breakfast or parking, complimentary room upgrades, early check-in, and late check-out. I was told by both the hotel and an Expedia representative that my status “does not amount to anything.” The hotel’s member rate is about 20 percent higher than Expedia’s, so there’s no value in booking direct. There are many excellent hotels at Heathrow for an overnight stay, so avoid the Leonardo Hotel if you can. Zero stars for customer service. Misleading advertisement at its best. Overall, a very poor experience.

It's close to the airport (bus stop outside - every fifteen minutes for £1.75 bus ride). And it's cheap. But it's also massive, with not enough lifts. It has very thin walls (my neighbour was on the phone and I could hear every word). And it's tatty. My room did not have much lighting either? Stay at the Holiday Inn, it's a lot better!

Great stay here, very comfortable after a long night flight. Lovely feel in the reception area, with the great fragrance and flavoured water. The woman who checked us in was very polite and helpful, and the room was just what we needed, would definitely look to stay here again when flying from or into Heathrow (a plaid is also the Hoppa bus to and from the terminals)
