Bucket list trip

Stayed here twice during the trip because of its closeness to the airport. It is also easily accessible to buses and the Underground. The beds were comfortable.

Great overnight stay

We stayed overnight before a flight to Houston. The room was great, the bathroom was spacious and well stocked and the hairdryer worked! Had dinner in the restaurant which cost £120 for 3 courses for 2 people. Food was lovely and the service was excellent. We had to get a bus to and from the airport as it’s a bit of a distance away, but the buses were quite frequent and not a problem

Very friendly and helpful staff - both behind the main desk and in the corridor as I searched for my room (a very pleasant young woman directed me and waited to ensure I’d turned at the right place). A clean, quiet hotel with great views of the runway which is fascinating (I’m not a plane spotter but you can’t help but wonder at these huge machines taking off into the skies over and over again - or maybe that’s just me! Hotel is totally soundproofed and beautifully quiet. Definitely recommended. I’m glad I found you, Renaissance!

Expected more

I would expect the hotel staff to be helpful. We were passing through and got in a lot later than expected. Traveling with large suitcases and had to take the stairs. There were no wash cloths in either room and the sink didn’t drain. The hotel was clean, but the stay was less than impressive.
