The hotel was excellent however the booking via ebookers was far from satisfactory: the hotel only booked us in for one night instead of the two we’d booked and paid for (thanks to the strange system used by ebookers of two separate bookings) and although at the time of booking the rate included breakfast on both mornings it later turned out that there were two different rates... Due to the confusion this caused I will avoid using ebookers in the future.

My wife an I stayed for three nights over the bank holiday weekend, hotel was very clean and hotel staff very friendly. Room was nice size and modern ( double collection) gym and swimming pool handy for the fitness fiends which is free to residents of hotel. Altogether great stay will be returning.

Disappointing

Pros: Nothing
Cons: Because of the age of the building it would be difficult to make any worthwhile improvement. It probably only just passes fire safety regulations.
Location: It's located at the top of Richmond Hill and has good views over the River Thames. The town centre is at the bottom of the hill, slow walk back up.
This hotel is in an old building and is showing it's age. Parts have been added over the years and consequently there are lots of winding corridors and fire doors. We were in an older section of the hotel and there was a definite slope on the floor and old wooden sash windows. The bathroom was dirty and needed refurbishment e.g black tile grouting and poor fittings. It was a room only stay for two nights and we didn't make use of any of the bars, restaurants or other facilities. On both nights there was a wedding taking pace so we found a nearby pub for a quiet drink!

Nice hotel

Pros: Hotel decor was lovely and staff were helpful.
Nice hotel but rooms very compact unless you have one with a desk. About 20 minute walk from tube station but one or two restaurants close by. Hotel itself involves a lot of stairs. Didn't eat in hotel beyond breakfast which was good. Visited bar once but despite having around 9 wines on their menu they only stocked two (which weren't listed). Probably best suited to business travelers.

Could have been better

The staff are really helpful, the part that let them down was the cleanliness of the room. We changed one to a newer one but that was also dusty. A real shame.

Weekend away

The hotel room was very smart and had a really comfortable bed. It was great to be able to attend gym classes in the spa and make use of the leisure facilities. The only criticism would be the lack of staff available at reception that meant quite a wait at check in. We must have just timed this badly!

Brilliant RWC weekend!

The hotel was perfect, beautiful setting, excellent comfort and a fantastic experience and welcome from the staff. This is a hotel that definitely goes the extra mile for its customers. We would definitely use this hotel again & can't wait to go back.

Toller Service, sehr nettes Personal. Sehr schöne Bar. Restaurant gute Küche. Zimmer gut ausgestattet, sehr bequeme Betten, sehr sauberes Hotel. In der Nähe sehr gute Restaurants, alle zu Fuss erreichbar. Auch Bahn und Bus in der Nähe. 2 Minuten zum Richmond Park. Lage fantastisch, perfektes Erholungsgebiet, wunderschön. Rosita 2022
