Rude staff. Sitting quietly in area by reception 6am, told ignorantly "this area doesn't open until 7". Your customer service needs a hell of a lot of work.

Clean in the room could be more efficient. There is dust on the beds and in the bathroom and hair in the shower.

Safe, clean and peaceful night's sleep

The best hostel I have stayed in whilst in the UK. You get lots of privacy with the curtains on the beds, it's in a really quiet location and everyone was very respectful in my 33-bed room and didn't make much noise. It seems to attract all sorts of people to stay, families, couples, groups etc. I was alone but it is welcoming to all. Definitely recommend.

Compared to camping this is 5 Star luxury

Pros: Excellent value. Breakfast is nothing startling but for the price it's good value with enough on offer to set you up for the day.
Cons: Bunk next door had loose fittings, so it was banging against the wall each time they fidgeted around in their bed? Not for too long though, thankfully
Location: Pleased on this trip I had time to wander around the lovely Holland Park. Nice walk to the shops and underground.
This is NOT a Hotel. At this price you might expect a piece of grass to pitch a tent and access to an outside loo. Instead you get a comfortable bed with clean bedding, clean shower and bathrooms, lovely surroundings and friendly staff. Yeah, I chose to spend slightly more for less beds in a room, just to find myself in a cramped room with 2x triple bunks... But compared to camping (same cost) it is still luxury!

Need earplugs because, just like most hostels, the noise-proofing between rooms is poor but at least the bunks are well made & do not squeak. :-)

Nice Hostel

Pros: It`s quite. No interuptions from other guests and besides no hearing of Police sirens
Cons: Water pressure (some of the toilets) Don`t use so much chlorine to clean the bathrooms.
Location: The park looks good in the spring & in the summer. The Tube stations Holland Park and High Street Kensington are nearby about 10min
If you have any questions you can ask the staff and they will help you with the issues. It`s very quite at night and that is a great thing. It`s clean for London conditions.

excellent location, excellent staff

I arrived only to discover that I'd booked for the wrong day, no big deal to Emilio on reception who just changed my booking. I then got a bed in a 6 bed room and had no room mates for the night (added bonus). Brilliant location right in Holland Park and a short walk from the tube stop.
