I really enjoyed staying here, the staff were caring and accommodating, my room was nicely renovated (although small, but as a solo traveller was fine for me. Loved how they restocked my complimentary espresso and chocolate! One negative was I was right beside the emergency exit and I could see staff members taking breaks beside my window. I didn't let it bother me, but it affected my privacy

"Cosy" room was actually tiny. Shower difficult to turn round in. Very generic breakfast, with hot-ish food in chafing dishes. Nice, apologetic staff, but I wouldn't book again. Piptree breakfast-coffee shop 50 yards away was excellent.

Stayed just for one night - very pleasant staff and lovely hotel. Limited parking. The room that we had was a bit noisy due to road noise and a continual banging noise. Not used to plane noises but that can’t be helped. Very polished styling and clean and neat. Had the use of two rooms with a twin adjoining room - very good option. Would rebook

Was a lovely hotel and the team were super friendly, helping me with a taxi booking and a slightly later checkout. Some of the exterior areas need to be tidied up e.g the ‘Lodge Hotel’ signs on the wall as you approach the hotel and completion of the outside areas

Friendly helpful staff, good value for this area in London, handy for the tube. The room was really quiet despite being on the flight path for Heathrow and on a busy road (our bedroom was at the back) - this was a very pleasant surprise and helped us get a good night’s sleep. We did not use the restaurant and only stayed for one night. I would recommend this hotel.

The property is very nice, there was however a leak from the guttering by my room was leaking water, which was exagerated by the heavy down poor. I mentioned this to the reception staff.

Great stay would use again in future !

Hotel was used as easy 40min walk to Wimbledon. Room was spacious and clean. Parking was easy although spaces are limited. Staff were all super friendly we had dinner and breakfast there both of which were good.

Fabulous!

Fabulous stay. Air conditioned room, super comfy bed, choice of pillows, powerful shower, friendly professional staff. Only draw back for me was lack of gluten free options. Staff were helpful here though and provided utensils for a gf uber eats.

The hotel is lovely, the staff was very nice. Great location to attend Wimbledon but there was a strange issue that happened in the middle of the night of a man knocking and entering our room with a key ...it was very odd and I think he was not a hotel person. The hotel has many corridors and this person was behaving oddly...saying there was a fire alarm (which I did not hear) and he was checking on us as the hotel staff were worried. When I asked at the desk the next morning about it... they did not have any alarms the night before or any notes in our file stating that they sent someone to the room. It was all very odd - I was a bit concerned and happy that I was not alone as my husband was in the room. Aside from that the meals were very good and the location is great.

Stayed here for our trip to Wimbledon, hotel and staff were great , only one quick train stop to Wimbledon tennis . Close to lots of cafes , shops and restaurants. Room was nice clean and modern but air conditioning was quite noisy . Soaps etc provided were nice and expensive smelling but rainfall shower lacked pressure and was difficult to wash long hair . Breakfast was nice and fresh , worth the money but dinner was overpriced for quality but there is plenty of food options a short walking distance away . Overall a nice hotel and would stay here again if attending Wimbledon .

Lovely hotel

The hotel was lovely, it was clean and the staff were helpful and friendly. It was close to amenities bars and restaurants. It was also a 2 min walk to the nearest tube which was one stop to Wimbledon for the tennis which is why we were there. My only little niggle. We had to change rooms, my fault the way I booked and the 2nd room was nice but a bit dated after the first nights room. It was still a great place to stay , especially if going to watch the tennis again I would stop again
