Service was ok but the hotel is generally basic. Bed was comfy enough but I was kept up all night by slamming doors. The walls are wafer thin so you can hear everything. There was also a very smelly leaking pipe outside that looked like it was spilling sewerage all over the car park. I will go somewhere else next time.

Thistle T5

The hotel is very convenient for Terminal 5 and London Heathrow in general. The Thistle isnt the most attractive from the outside and the corridors and rooms are a little 'tired'. This is more than made up for by the friendly greeting we received upon arrival. The food at the restaurant in the evening was very tasty and good value. The hot, buffet breakfast wasnt possible to fault. I would stay here again

Travelling with a large rifle case is interesting to say the least. They gave me a ground floor room and avoiding steps. I use the Thisle because of the pod system to terminal 5. Imagine getting the 5 foot long case onto the airport buses

Another good stay at this hotel. Food in restaurant is fine. Pod entrance fee keeps increaing everytime i visit the hotel, even though the pod to terimal 5 is free, shame they dont offer a discount for frequent use at the hotel.

Very nice but rooms are expensive for what is on offer. Prices of drinks were Extortionate £12 for a Glass of Wine. The staff were very nice and helpful. Room basic but very clean and comfortable. The Pod to Terminal 5 is excellent
