Convenient location, just a short walk from Whitechapel tube station. Our room was a good size, with a little balcony attached to sit outside when weather behaving itself. Clean place, comfy bed, room had lots of extras (fridge, fan, microwave, hairdryer), good value for money, staff super friendly & helpful. Would stay again.

Crucible stay

The overall stay was good, very friendly and accommodating staff. Place was very clean and presentable. The small single beds too stiff, and quite uncomfortable however the double was great.

We were really comfortable at the Vilenza hotel. The place is very quiet and you will have a great night sleep. It's also located near Whitechapel underground which makes it easy to get anywhere. The neighborhood is not the best but we did not feel unsafe. Good bang for the buck

I travelled with my parents. The room we stayed was not as shown in the pictures on the website, it was a different location. It was affordable with all the necessary amenities. It was clean and towels were changed every day.

Our stay was severely disappointing, primarily due to blatant false advertising. Upon arrival at the hotel, we were informed that our room was not located in the main building, requiring an inconvenient drive to a separate facility. What awaited us was far from the advertised experience. The room resembled a prison cell, a stark contrast to the images online. The sleeping arrangements were cramped and impractical, forcing us to climb over a double bed to access the bunk bed – a completely unexpected feature for three adults, and one that was deliberately omitted from the promotional photos. Communication with the front desk proved difficult due to our remote location. While the bathroom was adequate, the lack of soap was a basic amenity that was surprisingly absent. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this hotel due to its misleading advertising and subpar accommodations.

The bathroom was clean but not the bedroom. The fridge and kettle were broken. The kettle was making sparks when we tried to use it which we pointed out on day on, but although they said they would fix them, they didn't. They said there would be housekeeping but no cleaning took place. When we came back to the hotel in the evening, our key card did not work anymore and there was no one at reception. It took long to get hold of someone on the phone who then had to come and let us in.

My Family and I stayed at Vilenza Hotel and we had an EXCELLENT stay. Staff was amazing, Location was super convenient and we had everything we needed. Highly recommend Vilenza , Efe was fantastic

Feels like a tired hostel

Truly misleading pictures. As I saw in other reviews - it feels nothing like a boutique hotel but more like a tired hostel. The receptionist was very nice and welcoming during check in. The studio room was in the basement. Large, clean…ish. Somewhat depressing but ok for one, short night stay. The price tag and the pictures suggest a hotel of completely different quality though, so ready yourself for a mild disappointment.

Great find! A very comfortable, clean and conveniently located hotel close to transport links at the heart of the historic Whitechapel district. Excellent service (thanks Adam!) and good value for money. Overall, highly recommended.

Just 'No'.

At check-in - I was asked to go to their 2nd building - a 5 minute walk away - to a room over a Turkish restaurant. It looked nothing like the room online that I thought I booked, it was just an old a room in an old building where I went on to spend a sleepless night due to the noise from occupant of the room next door - sounded like he was a resident of the old building, not a guest.

Cheap but very basic

Had to have a ten min walk from reception to another apartment. 230 commercial road. Room wa cold and hostle like. It was cheap but nothing like the pictures and the reviews can’t be for this room.
