Hotel of a good standard, room spacious although lighting was poor. Good facilities, pool was nice. Unfortunately as hotel only guests, we felt that the club members were treated as a priority. Breakfast was very disappointing, a paltry offering of cooked items buffet style which were luke warm. Also, on the second morning, the breakfast location changed with no signage to indicate this. Previous breakfast area had half decent coffee machines but today there were some urns of a horrible, weak coffee only.

Disappointing restaurant

The restaurant was closed at 9:05 pm the I got to the hotel (Thursday) all that was available was a packet of crisps and a milkshake. On the Saturday night of my stay, I tried to order food at 8:10pm and the kitchen wasn’t taking any further orders. Fortunately, the young lady who worked in the restaurant took pity on me and let me order a pizza. There was a 50 minute wait.

Lovely Stay for Our Parents – Great Breakfast & Friendly Staff Booked a stay here for our parents and they had a wonderful time. The hotel was comfortable and well looked after, with a relaxed atmosphere. Breakfast was excellent—plenty of choice and very well run. Staff were warm, helpful, and always on hand. A great experience overall!

Nothing bad to say about this hotel other then the rude bar staff, laughing and joking about me and my lesbian partner that made us feel uncomfortable and wanted to confront them but the bar staff didn’t like to stay behind the bar, and the plasters at the side of the pool wasn’t nice to see but know it won’t be down to the hotel

Review!

Room was amazing so no complaints. Food was average and nothing special and the same old menu you get everywhere and the restaurant and bar area felt like a school canteen to be honest. Disappointed with the hot tub that nearly gave me 3rd degree burns! Really bad considering this is one of the reasons I booked the hotel. Checking in was efficiently done by the lady out checking out was a bit chaotic as no one could find my tab that should have been charged to the room. Headless chickens! Plus on paying the bill for the evening meal and drink, I didn’t get the 10% off or free drink as a guest. Poor! Breakfast was great but as someone who has worked hospitality, the breakfast selection area needs to be split in two so you don’t have to queue behind 20 people who are getting fruit salad when you just want the cooked breakfast. Maybe fix the checking in table as well as the wheel fell off and I had to hold it up for the staff member. Looks bad!

The staff are absolutely lovely, so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Especially the brunette woman on the reception (sorry didn’t catch her name!) She provided with us extra towels when needed, gave us plates and cutler for our room because we decided to get a takeaway as their was a members party on on the night we stayed and we just wanted a quiet night! She had a great sense of humour and made us feel really welcome. The room was massive and modern with a brilliant power shower and the bed was really comfortable. The spa was brilliant with a huge jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. We went twice over the weekend and both times was quiet enough to relax! We noticed they actually offer a crèche as well for children so you could play sports and go the spa for an hour even if you take your children which we thought was brilliant and we definitely be bringing our children next time. 10/10!
