Leeds Castle

Booked on a whim to stay for a couple of nights to visit Canterbury. Excellent location and all staff very friendly and helpful. Had a meal in restaurant both nights and food was excellent too. Thankyou.

100% recommend

Lovely setting, room was immaculate with a view of the lake and the formal gardens. We found the bed and pillows quite firm but cannot fault the accommodation. We ate in the castle view restaurant for dinner and breakfast. Dinner was fantastic and great cocktails which we thought were good value. Castle access is included in the stay but due to bed weather the castle and attractions did not open on the Sunday which was our plan for the day. Quite disappointed to have missed out.

Romantic Castle stay

lovely stay and great staff, breakfast could of been warmer but good quality of food. We stayed in the stable courtyard area of the castle right opposite the restaurant and bar which was lovely for a chilled drink etc Room recently refurbed with walk in shower and tea making facilitys etc and extra bonus castle entrace is included in stay Stayed before and im sure we will again

Our stay at the Stables Courtyard rooms was excellent. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed by the wonderful staff in all areas of the property. The reception staff were very polite and friendly, and gave us all the information we needed for our stay and our wristbands for free entry to the Castle and grounds. Julie in the restuarant was really lovely - great personality and a high level of customer service. The dinner and breakfast were delicious - lots of choice in the buffet with also a menu of freshly cooked hot food. The ground and castle staff were also very helpful and courteous. I can't fault anything about our stay.

A very enjoyable vist

From the moment we checked in to when we checked out our stay there was very enjoyable the first thing you notice is how friendly and helpful the staff who work there are, our room was large very clean and had everything you needed in it, the castle was interesting to look round, the grounds were nice I would imagine in the summer they would be even more so, for a bit of fun I would recommend a visit to the maze it's big and the groto at the end of it is good, if I lived nearer to Leeds castle I would visit it a lot .

Stay in Lloyd room

Lovely setting. Check in staff were lovely and so helpful.1st night was kept awake from the noise from adjoining rooms so not good. They had obviously checked out for our second night so was much better. Room was spotless with some lovely touches such as chocolates. 1st days breakfast was fab however at our second breakfast there was no self service hot food which personally i prefer but the options cooked to order were fine. The continental choice was great if not somewhat depleted on our second day but staff were more than accommodating when we asked for items that had run out. Complementary entrance to the castle and grounds was an excellent bonus. I all it was a fab short break at an amazing location.

Amazing

Absolutely loved our stay. We stayed in the Fairbanks room and it was so comfortable and luxurious. Definitely want to come and stay again. The only thing that was a bit of a pain was finding the Broomfield entrance. The what three words sent us to a different entrance. Other than that the stay was perfect

We stayed in the Shannon room which was clean spacious and characterful. It was just over the courtyard from the restaurant which was very convenient. The restaurant was great with delicious food and the view was superb. The restaurant manager on when we dined was called Will and he was excellent. We were very well attended to and he was super friendly helpful and professional. Overall a very enjoyable stay indeed.
