I stay at The Floridian frequently. it is very convenient to the Homestead Miami speedway where i am an Official with both FL Region and FARA racing organizations. . The room is always clean and comfortable, and the weekend hot breakfast is great.

It was probably a very nice place 50 years ago. Today it is located in the middle of poor spanish speaking neighborhood, so I can't recommend walking around at nights.

No Pool

Book a hotel for August in Florida with a pool and the pool is closed! Has been for a month apparently. This is not stated anywhere. I would not chosen this hotel had I known. You also could not adjust the shower temperature. The tap was stuck. So all showers were on the uncomfortably hot side.
