Resembles a nursing home

I arrived and was told there was no chef for the restaurant, yet no mention of that when booking. Ended up eating at Asda. The cost of the room was very high compared to the condition of the hotel.

fantastic hotel

the lady at reception when we got to the hotel took us to our room & explained where breakfast was & the time of breakfast. the room was lovely & big. little bit dark but ok when we opened the curtains fully. there was a fan in the room which we used. the staff at breakfast were friendly & informative. the cooked breakfast was really nice. the cakes looked nice too. the gentleman was helping with breakfast but saw we were going to check out so went to reception. lovely size car park. would definately stay here again

A RnR trip to Newark. The Millgate has free parking, staff are very friendly and informative. The weather was hot and room was a bit stuffy so asked for a fan, which they put in the room asap, no hassle at all. Well worth a visit!
