Ideal for Overnight or a Short Break

Pros: Near railway station (about a fifteen minute walk) and just off the main road to Torquay. Off road parking. Breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious
Location: Located in a residential area close to the main road to Torquay. Decoy Park country park and local nature reserve is a five minute walk away.
We stayed here last Saturday night as we were going to a family event in Newton Abbott. The owners were very friendly and ensured that we fully conversant with our room, how to get our luggage in without having to go through the bars, and getting into the hotel part late evening. They asked what time we would like breakfast and ensured that we were happy with everything. The hotel is actually attached to a pub, but the rooms are at the back upstairs, behind the bars so we were not disturbed. The staircase up is quite steep so people with limited mobility could find this difficult. We would happily use this place again.
