Lovely welcome, room ready early, lovey spacious room, clean - unexpected view of football pitch which was nice - only negative was room was cold even after adjusting thermostat - needed to use 2 duvets!

Constant road noise throughout the night, unable to sleep. We requested a room change to the back of hotel, but was told that was even nosier due to Norwich Stadium overnight pitch maintenance. If you want to sleep stay somewhere else.

Nice hotel in a good location. Breakfast was good and they cater for our daughter who has coeliac. Pitch view was a treat for our football loving son.

A few days’ break during half term. The hotel is great for Norwich City fans, we had great fun watching the ground staff working to get the pitch ready for the next game as our room overlooked the pitch! Easy walk to the Riverside restaurants and facilities and just a hop over the road to Morrisons for a snack. Not far into the city centre either. The car parking is a little confusing on first arrival but was fine one we knew which area to use. Not sure what it would be like on a match day though? Enjoyed our stay, would book again.

Birthday stay ruined.

Myself and my husband did not sleep at all. There was a constant loud, whirring, engine noise going all night. We thought initially that it might be our air con in the room needing time to switch off so gave it a while but by 2.30am it had not stopped. I went down to the reception desk, explained and asked for ear plugs. Staff were attentive and got these straight away. Unfortunately, the ear plugs didn't work as the noise was so bad. We left this morning feeling extremely disappointed and tired. We had no energy to do what we had planned on the Sunday in Norwich. As I checked out I explained to the receptionist about our stay. After reading reviews and from face-to-face responses with staff, it is clear the hotel are aware that rooms on the sixth floor (600+) have noise above them as the air conditioning units for the whole hotel are above these rooms. These rooms are knowingly being booked out and nothing is being done to resolve the issue. Even complementary ear plugs in the room would be an acknowledged start. I had to go down at 2.30am and ask for some. When booking through Hotels.com try and find out your room number first.

valentine weekend

pleasant hotel very good breakfast clean room friendly staff all good . just a piece of advice to people who want to use public transport the busses stop running past the hotel at approx 17:00 so if you are disabled get a cab back from the city centre
