It was nice, good location, the lobby is very inviting Our room was a little bit sticky, door lock was not functioning and toilette paper had not been replaced. But over all it’s a very convenient location and with a little more attention to detail could be really great!’

I did not like that they offered an extra bed and they didn't give us any extra, also it was a shuttle to transport to Universal an they didn't have any to go to this place. I never go back to this hotel because of this situation. I'm very disappointed.

Not like other Marriotts, but ok

Service at front desk, the restaurant and bar, and room was super. Food and drinks were reasonably priced and the food was good! the inside of the hotel was clean, however the outside was unkept, dead plants everywhere in tall fancy containers, and fake plants too in the outdoor fancy containers. The walkway to self park is a long one and althogh I saw someone low he fnt entry clean, I dont think anybody has done the walkway in a long time. there was plenty of room for self parking, although now marriott is charging $30/day so while hotels.com charged me a $40/night fee over the rate that was quoted at the time of booking, I paid $70/night EXTRA than what was quoted when I reserved the hotel. I chose a location close to disney springs, and the taxi to it was $20 plus tip so the next night I walked.

Aside from disappointing breakfast. It was great.

Room, bed, check in were all great. Bed was fantastic. Only issue is the quality of the breakfast buffet. The food quality is exactly what you would find in a discount bottom dollar hotel breakfast. Orange juice is the cheap stuff. Muffins are frozen/ thawed gas station quality. Not acceptable for $30. I don’t mind paying well for a breakfast, but don’t feed me garbage.

The first room we received had a dead cockroach on the floor . I went back and asked for a different room. We were moved from the first floor to the second floor. In this room we found a LIVE bug running around the square shower. We killed it but decided we couldn’t stay at a hotel which is obviously infested with bugs and not cleaned well. I went to the desk and the man was on the phone so I left my keys and found a different hotel to stay the weekend at. Such a disappointment for what was supposed to be a “4 stars hotel.

The check-in experience started off well, but things quickly took a turn when we arrived at our room. It was located on the ground floor with direct access to the outside, and to say I felt unsafe would be an understatement. We immediately requested a room change and were moved to the second floor. While that felt slightly more secure, the room itself was noticeably outdated and in need of major renovations—especially the bathroom. Unfortunately, our issues didn’t end there. A foul odor, clearly from sewage, was coming from the bathroom, which led to yet another room change on our second night—this time to the 15th floor. This room was definitely an improvement. Though still dated, the bathroom had been upgraded, but the shower still leaked. At checkout, we encountered several unexpected charges on our folio that had to be sorted out, which left a bit of a sour taste in my mouth. Would I stay here again? Honestly, probably not. While the location is excellent, the facilities fell short of expectations. On a brighter note, the service at the American Kitchen restaurant was outstanding! Breakfast was a highlight thanks to Niki, whose warm and attentive hospitality truly stood out. She made the experience seamless and enjoyable—she’s a real asset to the team and deserves to be recognized!

Frankly at the front desk was a joy. My room was clean and the amenities were great. I loved that they had free transportation to the parks. If I am ever in Orlando again, this resort will be my first choice.

This Renaissance in Disney Springs made the Renaissance on 17th St in Ft Lauderdale look like an unkempt home that had been looked after by untrained housekeepers and staff.
