This was a very disappointing stay.
1. The pool was dirty with leaves and bugs and not swept or skimmed.
2. The hot tub was out of order
3. The Television was absolutely impossible to find a channel. no guide and impossible to know what channel the TV was on or how to access one. Told the front desk and they gave me printed pieces of paper that were completely useless.
4. The room and all finishes are dark and lit with 5 watt bulbs. It was so dark in the room my wife tripped on a black shoe on the floor that blended with the carpet, fell and ripped their arm open on the handles to the dresser. Had to go out to get bandages to stop the bleeding. Went to the 3rd floor ice room to get ice, and it was out of order. Went to the 2nd floor room to get ice, and then needed a room card to get to the machine and had to go back to my room.
5. It took 2 1/2 hours for a maintenance person to come to the room to address a clogged toilet the first day, and only after 2 calls to the front desk.
I stay in hotels all over the country in my work, and have even been involved in the design and construction of many hotels. I can honestly say this was a real disappointment for a Hilton Hotel, and one which I will never stay in again.
