The keys to the room are for the individual rooms only, but each room key will open the entrance doors to allow guests to enter the hotel, and only guests with room keys. So there is no issue with security. If you asked we would have explained. With regards to the room, we have no details of what room you stayed in, and again why you never mentioned it to us while you stayed.

Along with a restaurant and a coffee shop/cafe, there's a snack bar/deli on site. You can enjoy a drink at the bar/lounge. Free breakfast is served daily. WiFi is free in public spaces. You'll have access to the outdoor pool at a partner property. Limited free parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis. This 3-star Penzance inn is smoke free.
