Awful check in it seems to be a problem here as its happened before. Sent to the pub on site to check in, it was raining which didn't help. No one was around to do it. Someone eventually appeared after about 10 minutes, other people were waiting too so took ages. The room was downstairs in the farmhouse which had a bad creaky ceiling when people upstairs walked around. Bed was fine, bathroom was clean but very cold. Not my best experience there.

I reserved a Large room with Twin beds. On arrival we were given a room with double bed. We have to for 45 minutes for the reservation person to arrive to verify the booking. We were then told there is NO twin bed room. I would ask how you could accept a booking to that requirement and now to be told that requirement cannot met. We finish with a smaller room on the ground floor. We manage to negotiate for 2 free breakfasts which turn out to be rather skimpy. It was a TERRIBLE experience

Rooms were quiet and warm. Very dated and bathroom was stained and felt unclean, it also was very cold in the bathroom. Staff were very nice and helpful.
