Peaceful place to stay

Rooms were clean and well equipped, extra fan provided also do to the hot weather. Dinner was good, and breakfast had a wide selection.

One night Saturday stay

We had a one night stay on a standard double room. There was plenty of parking spaces both sides of the hotel. The receptionist was very welcomeing and friendly at check in. The room was warm, clean and spacious. It was a good location with a short walk to the Town centre. Breakfast was good and again the staff were friendly and welcoming. I would recommend the hotel.

Poor experience

The room had no running water and the shower did not work either. I informed the reception staff who should have transferred me to another room. No so i was given a bottle of water.

The staff were all very nice and tried their best to please everyone but unfortunately there weren't enough of them. Saturday evening there were two staff in the kitchen, the receptionist was trying to cover reception and the bar which resulted in delays at both reception and at the bar. The manager was trying to cover front of house in the restaurant and meals were taking over two hours to arrive. More staff are required as the delays were unacceptable.

All good with my 3 night stay originally booked with two bookings checked in Friday and staff sorted so I managed to stay even in the same room for the duration of my stay even though the hotel was very busy over the weekend didn’t use restaurant or bar so can’t comment I have used this hotel before and would use it again

It was ok. The only fault I paid for b&b to find out breakfast is late on a Sunday so was not able to get a breakfast before we left at 745 very very disappointing. Most hotels we visit breakfast is from 7 whatever day
