The room was great newly refurbished, view spectacular. Bar menu very average food average staff ok but some could do with a bit of customer service training my husband plate was removed before I’d finished, minor points like that. On the other hand check in very pleasant and a handyman offered to take my case to my room unprompted
I was given a room with a terrible aspect-on the edge of the car park. If I had been staying longer I would have refused to stay in it. The food n the evening was good and delivered promptly, but could have been better at breakfast-a fruit salad with nay apple is hardly a salad. Staff were pleasant, friendly and helpful

Liked: Cleanliness
room was a pokey insert into the attic with a difficult access via steep, narrow winding stairs, the first flight without handrail
Excellent location, with walking along the coast, but limited parking so had to pay for this on our last night. Rather expensive for a small attic room with a shower over the bath which you can't stand up in due to sloping roof. Had to shower kneeling down! But views of the sea and harbour from our room and sound of the sea made up for this. Day/evening menu is limited and average quality but good buffet breakfast. Lovely beer garden with views over the harbour and sea. Bar and waiting staff could do with some customer care training but cleaning ladies were very polite and kept the place spotlessly clean. Overall a relaxing, enjoyable stay
Fabulous location in the centre of Seahouses with views over the harbour. All the staff were lovely and went out of their way to ensure that we had a fantastic trip. Nothing was too much trouble and although we didn’t have a dog with us, those that were there were given an equally warm welcome! (There was a dog free area of the dining room as well but all the pets were very well behaved - obviously exhausted by all those long beautiful coastal walks.) The rooms were comfortable and very warm with none of that annoying phoning down to reception to turn the heat up which seems to be the standard in large chains nowadays. We were not fully inclusive but ate in the restaurant through choice most nights as the food was freshly prepared and very good. Helen, Peter and their staff run a very efficient and friendly hotel which we will definitely visit again.
Hotel was great as usual however, the kitchen could clearly not cope with a full restaurant at breakfast. Spent a lot of time waiting for food to be cooked and replenished. Staff were polite.
Excellent stay . Amazing staff. Great food. Very relaxed. Our only problem was our room temperature which could’ve been warmer. But we will definitely staying again.
Limited parking was full, had to pay extra £10 for public car park. Hotel was uncomfortably warm at night.

The views from this property are spectacular but the property is tired and the utilities are not working correctly. The heating appeared to be broken. All heaters turned off but the room unbearably hot. Had balcony but could not open window as there were many people sitting out in the beer garden, at same level, even though it was the end of December. When staff told about heating, they couldn’t be less interested and said that they couldn’t do anything to change the condition. Not a cheap hotel and not worth the expense.
The property was reasonably nice but bathroom needed tlc shower hand rail came off in my hand and whole thing was loose.
My room looked out on small parking area with ice cream vans.
Everything was very good for our stay. The only downside was the food wasn’t brilliant and quite costly.Breakfast was adequate but mainly Luke warm and eggs like bullets.Good supply of the cold side of breakfast. We loved our stay, our room was perfect. The staff were so helpful and always busy.Would stay again.
