Good location but the hotel rooms over the car park are noisy, to warm, twin beds meant for children, to small for adults. Room 15 has a generator under the bedroom window that runs on and off all day and night. These rooms are disgracefully over priced; I would not recommend a stay.

Very comfortable room, and a good breakfast, evening meal was very nice. Service was a little slow at times but it was busy so understandable . No aircon so take a fan if the weather's warm as it's an old building and it retains the warmth very well. All in all The Bamburgh Castle Inn is a good family friendly hotel to which I will return.
