It was great experience, room was good, we booked sea view room.
Rates are very competitive while compared with others in comparison with facilities n view.
This was our first experience of a dog friendly hotel and it was amazing to have the comfort and convenience of a hotel room whilst having our pet with us. As expected the room was basic but clean and spacious. All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful and the hotel is ideally situated for the dog friendly beach and other attractions such as Shanklin Chine. We didn’t see much of the entertainment but the ‘happy hour’ was very welcome!
After reading a varient of mixed reviews we were apprehensive of what to expect but upon arrival staff were friendly, and our room was clean and adequate for our short stay. The hotel is right opposite the beach and within
a short walking distance to pubs amusements and the chine. It's also perfectly located for exploring Shanklin. We would certainly return again for another short break.

Our room had obviously had a leek and had black mold on the ceiling which smelled when you walked in the room. However the bedding towels and coffee area was kept spotless with room daily cleaning. The hotel has its own free parking which is a must at Shanklin and it is a fairly central location on the beach front.
Lovely stay at this hotel. Free parking was great. Although some areas needed updating, the actual room was nice and large. Clean with fluffy towels and clean bedding. One mattress could have been updated, as you could feel the springs. The only feedback would be the kitchens/service areas below room 127 , there is a door that bangs constantly from 7am in the morning.
Service is excellent but the hotel really needs updating. Bathrooms MUST be replaced in rooms- in one of the rooms we booked, the toilet came clean off the floor! Owners will not get away with this standard for much longer- the hotel needs investment. Location is great and price was ok- but definitely needs updating.
If I’m honest I didn’t have high expectations when booking this hotel we only needed somewhere to sleep but it exceeded everything, we had a lovely little balcony area, a bath although it was a bit slow to run the room was spacious plenty of cupboards and drawers to store things I was pleasantly surprised, the only complaint is the tea was the worst tea I’ve ever had😂 but we didn’t get food or drinks so I couldn’t possibly comment on that but I couldn’t fault the experience we had if we were ever to go back to Shanklin I’d probably stay again, we loved the fact it was dog friendly too
The hotel was cheap and suited us for what we needed - just somewhere to sleep and dog-friendly. However I didn’t see a member of staff at all throughout my stay - front doors were locked, bar and restaurant were shut (which we hadn’t been informed about in advance). As it happens this wasn’t a problem for us - as we were visiting relatives - but could be a problem for other guests. Hotel was dated and a bit shabby. TV did not work.

I cannot rate the property itself as they cancelled my booking out of the blue with no explanation with just 48 hrs notice. Very annoying & inconvenient
Bad experience. Got a room which was infested with bed bugs, had to cut short my trip and leave as there was no other room available anywhere.

The shower was not working because there was no water coming out. Despite paying a substantial amount for a one-night stay with my family, we faced difficulties in showering my daughter. It was a disappointing experience.
Oyo cancelled my booking and never informed me. I was informed when i was trying to checked in.
Worse customer service. Its been 3 weeks and
I am waiting for my refund and no response on complain.
AS soon as you step into hotel drabness hits you. .I booked a 'Deluxe' twin bedroom with view. To start with key cards would'nt work. When entry obtained to bedroom, confronted by 2 Military style metal framed beds with a matress thown on top. The toilet cistern continually ran. Spiders craling out beneath the rotten skirting boards in bathroom,which had acompact shower producing a dribble. Shocking hotel-never again
